Seven pieces of 1/2" and 3/8" stainless steel are welded together side-by-side in a step pattern.  The pieces rise out from the base, curving in the gentle beginnings of an arch to make a form which may remind some of the end of the proverbial rainbow.  The stainless steel has been left unpainted and was given a slightly textured look with a belt sander during fabrication.
