Artist: Mary Callery (sculptor), Roman Bronze Works (founder)
Medium: Bronze (sculpture), granite (base)
This sculpture sits in front of the Commerce Bank at the intersection of 46th Terrace and Wornall Road. The primary figure is a free-form nude male with his right arm straight out from his body. A smaller nude free-form female stands on his shoulders and her right arm is also straight out from her body. The man and woman are holding each others' left hands. Two birds sit on the man's right arm and a third bird is in flight and touching the woman's right hand.
The sculpture was dedicated to the memory of Davis K. Jackson, a notable business and civic leader in Kansas City.
