This limestone sculpture on a concrete base is a reproduction of a planting calendar tablet excavated in Tel Gezer, Israel. The original tablet is one of the oldest known examples of Hebrew writing and dates back to the 10th century BCE. The reproduction was created by artist Gadi Fraiman as a gift from the Gezer people to the City of Leawood. The tablet is displayed at the entrance to Gezer Park.
