AKA Academic Jayhawk

A smaller replica of the original Academic Jayhawk that sits in front of Strong Hall at the University of Kansas in Lawrence.  The replica sits outside Regnier Hall on the Edwards Campus in Overland Park.  Due to the type of bronze used to create it, the  four-foot tall sculpture weighs in at over 600 pounds despite its small size.  It was donated to the school by members of the Edwards family in honor of their parents, Roy and Joan Edwards.
